The Viva is our 1940s tulip skirt, and burgundy is the color it was always meant to be in. Deep, dark and a little dramatic, it does black's job with more personality.
It sits high on the natural waist, then flares out clean and stops just below the knee. Back zip, no fuss. Tuck a black peasant top into it for work, swap in a cream one for dinner, add boots when the leaves turn.
