The little black dress, floor length, with sleeves. An off-shoulder neckline gathers across the collarbone, puffed sleeves gathered into elastic cuffs, elbow length on the shoulder and bracelet length off it, and a fitted waistband opens into a full skirt that falls in one long, uninterrupted line.
Off the shoulder it's a collarbone moment. Drawn up it's a dress you can wear to a gallery opening, a wedding, and the after-party without anyone clocking that it's the same dress. Deep pockets, sewn into the side seams.
