This dress looks so cute on the model and so lame in person. The material is thick, coarse, and very synthetic feeling. This makes the dress hot and feel cheap. Anywhere the fabric stretches the black stripes are less dark and look more charcoal than gray. The sewing quality is poor and the zipper was sort of coming out already when it arrived at my house. You absolutely need a belt because the stripes do not match up at all. The cut was somehow extremely unflattering on me (flattened chest and straightened waist). Not at all what I expect for $180. Definitely going back and I’ll think twice before I order from this store again. Two stars because it did fit, was true to size, and arrived relatively quickly. Also the return/refund process was fast and painless.

Amazing

I was so excited for this dress since I adore the Mark Stripe pattern so much. My preorder arrived and the dress is beautiful, but this particular run seems a bit bigger than usual sizing apparently. I ordered my usual 3x, but had room to pinch on either side and a little gaping in the bust area, so I sent it back to try for a smaller size in the next restock. Docking a star because the pattern wasn't lined up very well on the front of the one I received, and for the sizing issue, but it's a lovely dress overall and the fabric is lightweight and good for summer. I think I would have opted to have mine shortened a little because on my 5'5" self, it hits a bit low on my shins, so keep that in mind if you're on the shorter side like me.
