Gothic Glamour - Bombshell Plunge Maxi Gown in Peacock Green with Sheer Mesh Sleeves

I did not go off size chart, had I it might have fit. I ordered my regular size 2x. The top fit perfect however the waist would not close by like 3 inches. It was almost worth keeping it. Green is an emerald green not teally/peacock. If I was too order again, not sure if I would fit it to my waist 4x or keep the 2 knowing how well the chest fit. Also want it back in black.

I actually got this as my wedding dress- and one of my criteria was 'I need to be able to ride a horse in it', so the double high slit here was perfect with a pair of matching tights and tall boots. It looked fantastic! I did make a few changes- I'm 5'1", so I needed it shortened a bit, and I did have the front stitched for a bit more modesty. I also added the beadwork to the waist.

The dress is the most lovely shade of green and looks truly extravagant on.

I don’t mind the plunging front (small bust 38B), but for the bigger sizes, I wish it had a less revealing back.
It runs a tad small in the waist and I did look at the measurements beforehand.
The slits are super high as well, which I can remedy with some stitches easy enough.
I‘m rather tall (5‘10“/1,78m) and it’s the perfect length with heels on.

Overall: lovely for a photo shoot, but to revealing to wear for an event without alterations

I saw this dress on Tik-Tok and needed a confidence boost so I thought I'd give it a shot so I asked for it as a gift and my family members pitched in and got it for me for my birthday. I will say it is long but I have plenty of heels to fix that, and I absolutely love it it makes me feel gorgeous!

Love the look of this dress, but... be aware, it is GREEN. Like, emerald green. Like, disappear into the grass of the field where you're having your wedding green. Fortunately that wasn't my issue - kine was being unable to zip the back fully up to the small of my back, either in the XL (which otherwise fit like a glove, as my measurements suggested) nor the XXL. Something about these measurements are, unfortunately, wrong for people with wide hips and a luscious rump.

It's also incredibly long, so even if it had fit me elsewhere, at 5'2", this dress was absolutely wearing me. A huge, huge disappointment after having it bookmarked for years for my wedding.
